roy2cebu Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) I remember as a kid my mum made some drinks from vegies and fruit...mixed in a blender.I think one was apple and carrot juice. As I'm now trying to get my health back on track would like to start drinking something similar again.Anyone got any recipes / mixes to suggest. Hey Roy,http://www.philippin...indpost&p=32347The link above is about the health benefits of coconut water (the juice extracted directly from the shell).I like mine chilled with a dash of sugar. You could also scrape out the white coconut meat and add itto the drink. Thank you Art for the link!Respectfully -- Jake

Art2ro Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 There has never been a week that goes by that we didn't have chilled young coconut juice and the soft coconut meat at anytime of the day or night! We have it prepared at the market in plastic bags with the coconut milk and meat separated, ready to drink or eat at home, if you don't drink or eat it all in your car on the way home! Yeah, it's that good!
Art2ro Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 If it were cost effective on a daily basis, we would purchase a "Jack LaLane" juicing machine, but it's very expensive just for the machine alone and the hight cost of fruits and vegetables nowadays prevents us from doing so! http://www.google.co...&oq=jack+lalanehttp://www.tipsforjuicing.com/
