I am looking for a place for about 1 month that willnot break my small bank. Ant suggestions? Some of our members have recommended The Swagman Hotel and HERE are some posts made about it. One place I could tell you that is cheap is the Manila Townhouse Hotel which is not far from the airport, but my wife and I stayed there years ago and it was overrun by roaches at that time, and things rarely change much in the Philippines, but it was cheap and it seems quite a few foreigners stay there, but since I snore, I did not wish to have any extra protein enter my mouth during my sleep, so before I knew the place was loaded with roaches, I sprayed the room and left for a couple of hours, and when we came back there were tons of dead rather large roaches all over the room and bathroom, and the room we stayed in was next to the kitchen. :yes: So if that is not a problem with people, then that might be the cheapest place to stay that I know of. Ant suggestions?I have stayed a the Paco Park Oasis Hotel 4 or 5 times,which is in the malate/ermita area of Manila.It is a short walk to Robinsons/nightlife area.They have a website and if you want anymore info let me know.Also in the same area the Gran Prix Hotel right in the middle of the nightlife area has easy bed rooms 800 peso,s but it is just a very small room with aircon/flatscreen tv/bed/phone...only enough room to stand up, but it is clean and modern....good value if you just want somewhere to sleep.There are quite a few other cheap hotels around this area depends on what is of importance too you. cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
