Seems to be a very critical view of the president by some of the military, so could this be true? Could there be yet another uprising in the Philippines? I sure hope not.The ominous rumblings in the military have started after an erstwhile unknown Marine Col. Generoso Mariano popped up in a social networking site calling for the overthrow of Noynoy. The call was immediate and unforgiving, the reason which Mariano said was Noynoy’s inability to deliver on his campaign promises to change the lives of Filipinos. His call was absolute: replacement of the government. It is the first time that a ranking member of the military spoke up against Noynoy. He was, in all probability, airing the sentiments of many members of the Armed Force of the Philippines and its service sectors, and perhaps even those from the Philippine National Police.Read the Complete Editorial HERE

Seems like a pretty biased article, even if it does have points. The writer is clearly as disgruntled as the marine, making broad statements like Noynoy has accomplished "nothing" and is completely incompetent to bring the people out of poverty. Statistics, apparently, tell a different story. Anyways, success or no success, there are bound to be loonies. Hopefully those loonies aren't manipulated by more powerful people with means. Anyone else see the news about the church asking the president to apologize for telling people how the bishops were accepting SUV's to support the previous administration? It's like, you caught us red-handed; now you apologize or we'll tell everyone what a bad job you're doing exposing corruption, and push for a coup.
