I have been told from a reliable source that they often send luggage to the wrong place on purpose when a flyer is nasty to them, so be polite and cheerful even if it hurts to do so. Dave Hounddriver Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 They forgot the one where the customer leaves the old tag on the bag so the baggage ends up having two tags. The handler has to guess which one is right. Usually it would be the newest looking tag but the handler often only looks at the first tag he sees.
