We have had issues with "every" provider of every service we have ever used in the Philippines . From the Electric company that wants you to pay them because their meter went bad and they were undercharging you and wouldn't fix or replace it to the local Internet provider that we payed our monthly bill to and later threathned lawsuit from Manila for 10,000 peso + for billing we never got a bill for to our current provider PLDT which despite being the largest Telecommunications company in the Philippines can't seem to credit your payment for at least 2 - 3 weeks after it was made and whose bill from Manila arrives past the due date to..... How's that for a long sentence ... :-)

All comes down to a lack of customer service based on a short sighted business model and a primary customer base that does not complain . One can get into the reasons Filipinos put up with such poor service until dooms day and maybe better left for another thread .

There... now i feel better... :-)
