On a one way ticket to Manila I'll need another ticket out of the R.P. within 21 days to satisfy immigration. What's the easiest, cheapest way to handle this?

From what I have read here before, the cheapest throw away tickets are often out of Clark. Get on the airline mailing lists and they will send you specials. If you are lucky you can grab a really cheap one. Here is a link to the Clark list of airlines.

It;s simple. Just check online on the below airlines. Check their specials or put in different combinations and find the lowest. My recent Throw-a-way ticket was P1200 including tax and I think I booked clark to Macau.

Your ticket out of the Philippines does not have to be with in the 21 day period but if you find a good price with in that 21 days then go ahead and book it. If not just get the best price you can find.

At least in your experience. Mine differs. Wise to go with the flow if he can get one within the 21 days.

I just booked our "throwaway" tickets with Tiger Airlines, Clark to Kota Kinabalu Php699 each.

I would just like to point out to anyone who is going to book online with this airline and similar others for example Cebu pacific. Be very careful when you get to the booking page to only check the boxes for the things you actually need. You get bombarded with pop-ups offering a whole host of extras so just watch what you're doing or you could end up paying for things which you don't want.

With Tiger there is a "convenience" charge of Php500 and no explanation what it's for but i do know that it is unavoidable, still for the grand total of Php1898 for 2 tickets to Malaysia "all in" you can't argue about it can you!

That's the fee for processing your credit card, probably for 2 tickets. I think they all do it.
