 Now this may not affect many here, I just thought it would be interesting to those it will affect, to me a rise from 30p to 150p airport tax is still value for money a big rise I admit but if we are to get an Airport of safety and ease of Traveling then it has to be paid for. Dumaguete was well behind the times for many years. I am not sure what the Locals will think of it but for me it seems right to up the tax The information on the link may surprise some, no increase for 20 years, if this is to be be believed and I have no reason to doubt it .Any thoughts and comments ?http://www.sunstar.c...fee-eyed-226936anyone? BTW this how I get my news daily, via Google, I am sent stories daily via the news link page, Good to keep up on things, while I am away.

Assuming the figures are correct then no one can blame them for an increase. I doubt if anything will change at the airport other than an increase of tax but everything must pay for its self in life.

I also have been getting google to provide news to my Email now for at least 3 years, best way to keep up with what is going on especially if one does not live in the Philippines as its news sourced from a variety of news sources world wide.

I believe all airport fees for all domestic flights are P200. It hasn't been P30 since late 2008.

No I do not think that is correct as I know my wife pays a different tax at Zamboanga airport and I have used that airport about 4 years ago so I don't think they are all the same. But I could be wrong.

Driving Tax is different, lol. Honestly I can not confirm either but I am sure different airports have different Tax payments.
