Claims it was a conspiracy. Then how did the images get on his computer? :714_full_of_crap:

Man jailed in Sweden for ordering webcam rape in Philippines

A man will serve eight years behind bars after a Swedish court found him guilty of ordering the rape of Filipino children over the internet and then watching the assault via web-cam back home in Sweden.

The court in the southern town of Hassleholm also ordered the 52-year-old man to pay a total of £86,000 in compensation to be divided between his 11 child victims, who are aged between five and eleven. Prosecutors had asked for the maximum sentence of 14 years in jail.

The case had set legal history in Sweden given that the man was in a different country when his victims were attacked, and has given rise to the term "long-distance rape".

During the trial it was revealed that between 2008 and 2009 the man paid local women in the Philippines to find children and assault them on camera.

Some of them were even taken out of school to be attacked. It is believed the man, who has not been named for legal reasons, paid between £12-£36 per rape, and the money was used to provide food, clothes and school equipment for the children.

Police found screen shots of the attacks on the man's computer amongst 100 images of child pornography, and also evidence of "chats" in which he had directed the assaults.

The 52-year old protested his innocence throughout the trial, and claimed he was the victim of a conspiracy.

Liz Berglund, from Sweden's National Bureau of Investigation, said that although this was the first time a case like this had come to court the man was probably not the first to commit such a crime.

Seems like if they had a money trail and pictures, he didn't have much of a defense. If he was guilty, he got off way too easy!

I wonder if he has no money, will the victims get their compensation and also if they do it could be the mothers or relatives of the child who put the child into this situation end up with the money as it seems to me that's how they could take them out of school.

Either way more prosecution should be done as someone supplied the girls for the prick so they are as equally guilty in my books. :Mad:123

The story will be............. It's not the fault of those who used and victimized those innocent children. The Foreigner was taking advantage of them because of poverty.

If the clown was guilty he should spend the rest of his life in a Filipino jail IMO.

Really? Somehow I doubt that. I guess he had to say that to try and sound like a humanitarian.

He is a complete waste of life, but what happened to the ones providing the kids? They are as guilty as he is.

I agree and if that were to happen, I think his life expectancy would be greatly reduced. Every time I hear or read about one of these stories I think, most disgusting ever, but of course later on another disgusting story pops up. One of the troubling things about this story is the number of people involved. I hope ALL who were involved will be caught and jailed.

Gosh, you guys are so insensitive, and so behind the times.

This man is obviously disturbed and needs help.

He needs to be in a comfortable, stress free environment where he can be properly assessed.

Over a period of a few weeks, he could be psychologically, and psychiatrically, evaluated.

With the right sort of psycho-therapuetic counseling, and a proper treatment plan,

he could, with the support of social workers etc.,be returned to his community

and live a long and productive life.

Well of course, this is :th_exactly: what Gloria is campaigning for, from her cosy, Filapino Prison cell.

Any other Words fail me on this subject, just now.

BUT before, it gets out of hand, lets please, have a :th_grouphug: :grouphugg: Don't let this spoil, what should be a calm and collective Sunday, This mans fate, I firmly believe, is sealed
