Its very interesting when someone takes the time to compare personal living costs from their "mother" country to those found in Philippines. Thanks!OUCH!!!!!$$$$ I had to re-read those UK prices. WOW and I thought it was expensive to live here in the States! "Cinema ticket in UK P800Bar price for beer P300Bar price for meal P500+Bus ride for around 6 miles P400"
All those government services have to come from somewhere and generally I have a tax man hanging on the back of my jeans.. on pay day he picks me up shakes me.. picks up the notes and walks off as I gather my coins I pay the rent and other bills and by the time I do that im left with the empty envelope..SugarwareZ-034.gifWell it used to be like that many years ago.. but I worked long hours every job since i got my first major job and had plenty of cash since. But if you take all the taxes into account e.g. :- Philippines capital gains tax for property rental I believe is 12%?UK is 40%. It works out that every

Nothing wrong with using other peoples data.. whole point of the net :AddEmoticons04230: i mix a lot in with my blog simply because the whole point of my blog is getting all the information in one place. The amount of people that are searching for things and spend ages trying to get the right info is a joke.. especially with so many "old sites" out there that are in the wrong rankings e.g. ok the sites are up for 10 years but thats roughly how old a lot of the data and articles are aswell :)

I remember this old post of 2 yrs ago! Some of those prices are off some what from what they are today, but yes, people can still live on a $1,200 a month income! It's all about location and being frugal! Besides, there's already a topic on this same subject which is more recent. This old post will just throw people off and won't serve it's purpose except for locations of different places to live! Edited by Art2ro
