Yes, I know that she can speak it but she chooses the easier method, same as you say in France and Spain (in Quebec too). It annoys me to the point that I sometimes say to my wife in front of the person that I am talking to: "Ask her this or that" That way it gives her time to think of the answer.

As I said Breaking their own Rules BUT.................:571c66d400c8c_1(103):I would not take my Wife Then see what happens!

Agreed.  In all the times I have gone to an immigration office in Philippines I can count the number of times I was accompanied by any other person on one hand.  I understand the Immigration system much better than any local as they do not have to deal with it.  So bringing a g/f or wife just fills a seat that another customer could be using, IMHO.

Both as do most of the foreigners at Bacolod BI who bring their wives. It is a chatting session for the women.

I have paid more than that for 2 months in Bacolod, like around 7,200PH, and if I ask her why that it is so much this time, she turns to my wife and says something in Illongo.

I paid 11k for the first one with acr card. Kept asking my girlfriend why it's so cheap this time haha. I was expecting over 20k

For the 6 month visa?  Fair price no so long ago.   Seems like it may be cheaper now.

I cannot remember ever paying 11,000 for a 2 month tourist visa, even with agency fees to have someone else do it.  On the surface it sounds like you got ripped off.
