My advice to all that can't understand what has been written, you have been warned and ignorance is no defence in your court case. It's a Google site, and have a dictionary with you, plenty of wheelbarrow words in there, up to date too.

Looks like The PI Supreme Court Ruling expands beyond 18 years of age if it fits the criteria below from RA 7610.  It would be interesting to see if anyone can find a legal writing or source until what age so all who visit or live here know. I've been told 23, used to be 25 but can't find a source. Perhaps that's why an Expat in my area was warned when he got an 18 year old from a Bar as a live in. Authorities may have use the law below?

(a) "Children" refers to person below eighteen (18) years of age or those over but are unable to fully take care of themselves or protect themselves from abuse, neglect, cruelty, exploitation or discrimination because of a physical or mental disability or condition;

I had a quick look trying to find a link on the ten year age gap, but the stories I read where depressing so I quite, sorry. Like a lot of posts have said, if in doubt, run. Not having a go at you, but you don't have to be Instine to work out the meaning of that phase.
