Dave Hounddriver Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 I found it interesting that Chernobyl and Fukushima were the only "7s" on the INES scale. Next is the Kyshtym disaster (a Soviet disaster in the 1950s) which is a 6. All the other nuclear radiation events are level 5 and lower. (3 Mile Island was a 5). bastonjock Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 I found the tv series very interesting, whilst we can poke fun at it now , the world came very close to a major disaster The post production real story was very informative, a great many people risked their lives and died as a result of the explosion I cant help but think of the poor ordinary firemen who died as a result of their courageous actions It was also the firemen who took the short straw at the Twin towers , even today people are dying as a result of inhaling the asbestos from the tower blocks Firemen are probably the great unsung heros of this world 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
