Inspector Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 An odd day...the maid who enjoyed watching porn on my computer while we are out will no longer be using the shower massage. After noticing her slowing down the work pace to where it takes her 3 hours to clean a single plate...one side, I decided to approach her and ask her to pick it up a notch. When I walk the dog at 5 AM, as I have since I can remember, I always notice many maids outside cleaning the front of the houses, even washing cars. Our porno cleaning princess of slow delay awakes when I get back, looking very tired, probably from getting text messages all night on vibrate mode. She never does the outside, unless I ask her...and while she does sweep and mop the sala and kitchen, we never get CR's done, and the kitchen is always full of rice on the stove when she goes to bed, btw, she only cooks for her and the GF. Julz cooks for me, dinner...I make my own breakfast and lunch, and clean my own dishes. I went over the new updated and improved expectations of the employee plan, me boss...work or get fired.... and it seems she did not like the idea of actual working, if it requires, well, working.... and would rather watch TV, channel 10, now back in the province, where her dad pedal trikes while she texts her BF's, and gyrates. Single mom potential in case any are interested. We've also had our suspicions of her stealing a few thousand pesos....but have also seen our dog eat a few thousand pesos as well, so either she or Rascal was able to climb up to the shelf where we hid the money. Yep, that's going to be my new rule...no phones while working, no TV while working, softcore porn while working. All one has to do is look at most you see who work in stores to get an idea of what the average might be. I believe it might be the fault of the PHL govt because there are so many people out of work that most places hire ten people to do the job that one would normally be able to handle by our standards. Seems many households have more than one maid, and maybe that is why. Maybe you could find a good one by asking around to those you see working hard, if they know of anyone who would also be willing to work hard. Looking back at it...I don't believe I said much with either, and communicated through my GF on most items of concern. I'm thinking two things, they are too young, and secondly, I will need to lay out the firm groundwork next time at the start... and not allow myself to be as laid back. This is a cultural learning experience for myself, and while my personality is far too much into laughing, joking and relaxing while not sweating the small stuff, at least these days being retired, I'm certainly not a sap by any means, and can become a rusty nail when needed.I will just use the correct method next time, strict at first...and then the pull back.
