The prices for obtaining a visa just went up astronomically. For instance, the 59 day extension for people between 6-14 months just went up 95% to P4550. Express lane fees were doubled! Damn crying shame if you ask me!

plan ahead and save $$$,

or arrive w/out the visa and pay & pay too much.

here is the info that was provided by JJR

thanks for your assistance

For nationals of countries with visa agreement with the Philippines:

  1. Single entry valid for three (3) months US$ 30.00
  2. Multiple entry valid for six (6) months US$ 60.00
  3. Multiple-entry valid for twelve (12) months US$ 90.00

With all due respect this the following was taken from one of the postings from the links you provided to give actual and more accurate information regarding the 9a tourist visa..

, if you pay $60 and get a 6 months multiple entry visa, can you stay 180 days without paying additional visa fees?

No.

3 Months means you have 3 months from date of issue to use the visa but can only stay 59 days, unless you arrange an extension

6 months means you can come and go as many times as you like within a 6 month period but can still only stay 59 days at a time, unless you arrange an extension

12 means you can come and go as many times as you like within a 12 month period but can still only stay 59 days, unless you arrange an extension

Regards Jim
