I am used to 50 to 100mpbs here... I know it will be a tough transition.. but i also have to curb my online usage to work related things only. I think i can survive on 1 to 5 mpbs no problem! (dedicated and reliable tho)thank you.

In my experience, you will have difficulty just achieving your 1mbps as a line speed. Good luck if you mean you want to download at 1mbps.Sounds like you will be going with the above suggestions or finding a new business.Regards: Jim

Unlike in the US .... here they go by something called "up to ...sir" a catchy little phrase that means if you signed on for 2 mbps you may get 1 mbps or anywhere up to 2 mbps but never actually 2 mbps ..... it is written into every contract you sign with ALL servers ...... now in other countries this maybe in the contract but it means that SHOULD the service get overloaded for a few minutes you might experience a drop in mbps ...... but here in the Phils it means you pay for 2 mbps but get anything but ...... but it's "up to ... sir" ..... ya gotta love it ..... :mocking: :hystery: :hystery:
