Jack Peterson Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 Well it seems a long time i wrote anything here,, The build is complete, we just need some budget now for the finishing, main thing is it is livable, we can transfer soon and cut our overheads , with only 1 ( one) house to support and pay for. we should be able to finish by June. Bob and others interested, we have not done the total costings yet but I am happy to say, we are under budget so far, so we are well happy. Maybe when all is complete I can give some facts and figures. What I can say, is we could never, have done this without some good honest help at the right price from a Great Family and Friends. This, is what this topic was all about, Hope I have not Bored too many of you all, It is the end, of what was a bad year for me and now, I can settle and start to enjoy my Retirement just to recap, I post some start , and complete Photos, ( It's OK I can cope with the hate thing :unsure:) Thank You once again, for all the interest and moral support. :tiphat: happy Jack P. and family. 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hey Steve Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Jack, I know this thread has not had a comment in about 5 months but I wanted to say...wow!!!. I am a new member. Reading this thread was a major reason why I signed up-especially how you and others stressed the positive atributes shown by Filipinos. Raw, clear, concise, and how very typical of the qualities these amazing folks have in spite of many levels of hardship they endure. I think the word is "bayanihan". Also congrats on your new abode...hope is going well for you there. Did you invite Jake over yet? Maybe he should bring his own wall..lol. Again Jack...thanks for sharing such a fantasic thread!!!
