Forum Support Old55 Posted May 11, 2014 Forum Support Posted May 11, 2014 Same as in the States, redistribution of wealth for those in power to stay in power. In da Philippines most local Players give modest kick-backs to those that support them. It's part of the culture.
Gerald Glatt Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 "Give a man a fish and you feed him for one day, teach him to fish and you feed him for life." You'll feed him, after you buy him the rod reel and bait, along with the boat motor and truck to tow it with. Remember your motor will also need fuel, oil and service every x hours, also scraping, painting, dry dock, and licenses, taxes must be paid on the gift of the boat. I'm probably leaving off many expenses check with Jake or some other sailor. Now I think we could get this guy a fish for maybe 60-70 years with just that.
