My experience on filipino homes is that a bedroom can be 2.5X2m = 4.5m2!!!! not enough even for a bird cage!!! When i first met my wife abroad she told me her house is 3 bedrooms and one bathroom two floors when i came to it, it was all in all 50m2 divided in 3 bird cage rooms one bathroom without bathtub, and a kitchen connected with the living room reminding me the size of my kitchen alone in my own country.... Houses as such here in my subdivision (2bedroom one bathroom, 36m2 all in all) they rent for 3000p/month and for 7000p/month fully furnished with a/c as well.
