Snorkel, Mask, wetsuit, watch, dive computer, regulator, BCD, underwater camera, ect. jkim248 Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 Man, I feel like a looser. I found the shop, after a while and it looks like they have all the gear I need. But NOBODY would help me. They wouldn't even acknowledge that I was there! I didn't look foreign enough or something? My driver got more response out of the sales people than I did. 6 people in the shop, not one acknowledge me standing at the counter for 15 minutes let alone say Hi or anything. Maybe they do too much business with resorts and such for such a small time buyer like myself. Looking to buy ONLY 2 sets of gear. Dropping $3000-$5000 Chump change to them. Found Scuba World and they were much more friendly but the sales people didn't seem knowledgeable enough to help me with all the gear. Does anybody know of other places? Even in Mactan Island? jkim248 Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Okay, Managed to find SCUBA World. 800 Ma. Cristina St. The selection was a bit sparse in Cebu branch. Also managed to find Asia Divers, Unit 22, Mercedes Commercial Center, Cortez Ave, Mandaue City. Better selection than SCUBA world but still not good as White Tip. They did have the brands that I prefer for BCD and regulator. Found the 2nd location for White Tip on Mactan Island. Sales person being much more friendly. They have better selection for wet suites. Kontiki Dives in Mactan Island is a dive shop, not a store. So... I guess I'll give White Tip in Cebu City one more chance. (Cuz I like the color of their wetsuits better.) Buy the cheap stuff here and get expensive stuff at Asia Divers. Unless they have cash discounts... 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
