I am a very impatient and easy to anger person - BUT, I am not in my environment so I am also realistic - I need to adjust. Having been here before and having been married to a Filipino for 7 years I did not come in blind.

A very well thought out reality check indeed!  Apparently, you are adjusting quite well sir.  On the second note,

I've been happily married for 27 years but I still need to put on some blinders whenever I get back to my native

land.  360 degree coverage of the natural beauty of a Pinay -- that would be my restart living back in PI.
