Some of you know I have been with my lovely pinoy for a while now, and as a FIFO worker, we communicate alot via email, web cam, and yahoo msg, just making the separation a little easier. I found a list of a 100 questions the other day on the computer, that was suppose to make you closer to your girl and learn more about each other.

On account of the english comprehension between myself and my young lady, I got some very endearing and funny answers to some of these questions. Looks like a job application with a hidden meaning to test the attention span of the test taker. I gave up after question 4 as the list became too long.

Also it may be that this original test was adapted (stolen) from that wack job who runs the Eharmony dating site Dr. Neil Somebody who comes across as a very creepy guy (I would add him to my #4 answer).

Hmmm, I wonder how many Fillipinas would have sufficient attention span to complete those.

Some good conversation starters here when you get stuck.  If you use 1 per video chat you don't have to come up with anything else for over 3 months.  We used to talk 5 to 8 hours a day and used several lists like this to carry conversation.

Of course the only fair thing to do is to answer the question yourself before the other person tells you their answer.  Then do not change your answer and tell them what you said.   Proceed with caution if you have communication problems.

I was actually fairly impressed. My girl completed the whole 100 questions. If it was not so personal, I would have posted some of her answers. Most of the answers were very cute, and at the same time some where very enlighting.  Awww....the life of the FIFO resident of Cebu. I can't speak for other Filipina's, but mine really appreciates me trying to figure out ways to know her better. :)

This made me laugh. I use some similar questions on my internet dating profile. The response from Filipinas has not been to positive.

- Is this a application form? :bash:

- I guess you want my BIO data. :cheersty:

- I'm not applying Sir. :boohoo:

- You look for a employee? :1 (72):

From the negative comments I received, I guess know that the Filipinas are simple minded, and don't like to 'complicated' questions. So I removed my few questions, and these days I only ask for their C.P number.

Got to love the cute simple Filipinas.

I kind of found that out as well, so I really needed to find a Filipina where we were on the same page intellectually. I got really lucky to find a woman with a degree, and can discuss just about any topic, and if she can't she is incredibly keen to learn. For instance, one of my loves is scuba diving. I have been diving since I was 12, and teaching diving since I was 30. My pinoy had seen diving on TV before and was really keen to learn, not just the basics, but all the math, physiology, and science involved in it.....very impressed was I.....that is why I love her...hehe. Incidently, she was a natural once she got in the water :).

Mike,

If someone thinks your 100 complicated question are a good test for Filipinas then they don't know Filipinos very well. Maybe you found one who has the knowledge, understanding, time and patients to answer all 100 questions but the average Filipina won't even attempt to answer that many complicated questions. Filipinas like a few simple questions that are easy to answer. Even then they will ask other Filipinas for the answers. Maybe your woman did this too and didn't tell you.

Giving that many complicated questions to a Filipina to answer she may think you are insane unless she already knows you very well.

Complicated works for me. I was never looking for just a simple minded Filipina, I would have got quite bored if that was the case. I really lucked out with my lady. She is so funny, she actually took the list of questions, and made her own list for me. :)

One thing that most Filipinas who you just met don't like is personal questions about them or their relationships. Probably the worse one on the list is "Are you a Virgin?"  They do not like being asked that question because its offensive to them. Maybe in Norway and America its acceptable to ask that question but not in the Philippines.  And, if the woman is a virgin then she will think that is the only reason you are pretending to like her, so you can be the one to take her virginity and then move on to the next one.
