i am bob Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Sometimes we find a laptop that we really love - for some reason or another... Myself? I have my old beat off HP / Compaq 6230 that has a great feel to it! When I'm writing for money? That's the one I use! I have a new MacBook Air that I got recently but it still doesn't have the same great feel as that HP...! The big problem with my HP was that I dropped it one day. I caught it before it hit the ground but the monitor had 2 lovely thumb prints across it. What to do? Went on Ebay recently and bought a used screen for about $35 Cdn. Much better than the $210 US I was quoted by the manufacturer. Now it's my beautiful work machine again! Point of all this is that no matter what an item is, if it's one you like enough, it can always be fixed.
