robert k Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Good, you can always say the marriage was under duress. Is a shotgun wedding legal if it turns out the shotgun wasn't loaded? :)
Coffeehound Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Only if the shotgun wasn't loaded due to being discharged!
Hey Steve Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 You guys have no clue about the proper way to get married! DSCN0002.JPG Wife did not understand why I wanted the court bailiff in the photo. Seeing this pic, it's probably not a good idea to sing "Money" by Pink Floyd when they break out the karaoke machine at the reception.

That is such a great picture, I would have done the same thing :) Edited August 14, 2014 by Medic Mike
FlyAway Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 It's all good. I asked the court bailiff to pose with us. No one there understood why until later when I told them about what a "Shot Gun" wedding was. This one is ranked up there with getting married on a Saturday. City Hall is closed on the weekends. The judge was superstitious and would not marry us on the Friday. Ended up getting married Saturday April 2, 2005.
