Knowest thou and even I, that thou filipina is always correct and never wrong and I most sincerely apologize for my transgressions.

Letest thou holy filipina speakest to us once again, so that we may marvel in her great knowledge.

I reason with my girl. I layed the groundwork that communication was essential to a relationship, right? So whenever she won't talk, we are then not currently in a relationship and I will do whatever I want. What I want will be basically nothing, catching up on reading, surfing the web uninterrupted but she can never be absolutely sure of that. :tiphat:

Happy to report that in 25 years together, I can't really say that I've experienced tampo (prolonged silent treatment).  There have been a couple of times when she's been supremely vexed, and rather than have the argument escalate, she has walked away saying that no good will come from belaboring the topic at the present time and that we will have a more civilized talk when she calms down.  I give her the space she needs, and we are ready to talk in a couple of hours.

I agree with McBubba although not 20 years for us but 7+ and we have never had the spoiled brat problem .... never .... we have had a few disagreements but they were immediately settled ... sometimes she won and sometimes I did .... but we always talk it out .... so we ended up both winners ..... :thumbsup:
