Or if you can get out of Cebu go to Bohol and stay near Alona beach if you like the night life

 

Not much nightlife in Alona other than expats drinking in bars until about 2am or one or 2 open air discos full of said expats and their families;  I was there a month ago and can verify that.  Beautiful place though, food is great (cheapest seafood I've come across in PI tourist trap notwithstanding), water and beaches are on a par with anywhere in the world and only Australia and certain areas around the South-West Pacific beating it for diving.  

 

Alona is very toned down with regards to nightlife in comparison to somewhere like Boracay.  They're either ends of an extreme.  I've yet to find the happy medium in The Philippines.  It all depends on your definition of a good night out I guess and who you want around you.
