Gratefuled Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 I don't buy anything online here. In the states, I would buy out of print books from amazon. I used to play racquetball and I liked my Ektelon shoes. I ordered a pair online, the same size and when I received them, they were too small. I had to sell them to a friend at a loss. Never again. Tukaram (Tim) Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 My biggest problem with them so far is things being sold that are not available - and they refund my money. What they have sent has always arrived ok, but I have not ordered anything particularly fragile. Sounds like when it works, it works. If they have a problem, standard Filipino customer service fails again... Unfortunately we have few options here. So we need them more than they need us. ...but I buy my honey from the street vendors

What is the secret to the Refund? All we get is promises nothing more. The one honey we received intact was about the nicest I have ever eaten..... I have gotten emails saying the item was not available and my credit card was credited... actually I think it was never actually charged (not charged and reversed). Popular Post Tukaram (Tim) Posted August 27, 2016 Popular Post Posted August 27, 2016 Well... we shall see... I tried to order some stuff last night and when I filled in the credit card info and clicked "place order" I got a "oops our system is down for maintenance" page. So, a few hours later I tried again - same message. This morning I tried it and the order went through. After lunch I decided to check my credit card - and sure enough all 3 orders got placed. Lazada has instructions on how to cancel an order but when I followed their directions there was no cancel button. I contacted them and received an email surprisingly fast. They said you can only cancel within 6 hours and it is too late. I called my credit card company and they said they will be happy to dispute the charges. So I wrote back to Lazada and said I will refuse 2 of the 3 shipments, and reverse the charges. I am not going to be inconvenienced because their page was F*ed up. They have not replied back yet ha ha... We shall see...
Daydreamer Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I buy from amazon when I can and have the items shipped here. I've used Lazada a couple of times, but I will never pay in advance because there's too much opportunity to rip me off. If COD is not available I won't order it.
Tukaram (Tim) Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Yeah, if it is coming Manila it can be pretty fast, but if it comes from overseas (China), you may as well order of from Amazon or EBay. I think they are more reliable.

I put items in the cart that say COD available but when I select it at checkout it says not available. Has worked out so far though (knock on bamboo) as I only order items on Lazada that are in the Philippines and 4 star or better shipper. Popular Post RBM Posted August 31, 2016 Author Popular Post Posted August 31, 2016 As an update to my original post. At last after almost 3 months we did receive our refund for broken products which we returned. Took many phone calls and lots of frustration for the other half. Bottom line what we have learned, never buy and glass or fragile items as they are not sufficiently packed. This may not apply to IT gear which should be in the genuine box.
