It takes a lot of practice,so I suggest that anybody wanting to try it gets the proper training first.I taught Jack.

I would like to ride a bicycle but do not see anything close to safe riding available in the local area, especially for a 20-30km long route to take. Aside from the safety issue, while the distance from Valencia to Dumaguete is nice, there is that mountain thing. The ride to Duma would be too easy (downhill all the way) and the ride to Valencia would be too hard (yup, uphill all the way).

Sooo, I stay home, go bowling and play tennis.

Last week i bought a used Nintendo Wii that was for sale on OLX with 4 video games.  I have since every day played both golf and bowling for at least one hour each.  Yesterday my asawa's family came over to celebrate a nieces birthday and everyone enjoyed playing the games for the first time in their life.  Total cost of the console, remote units and games was 5,000 pesos.

Hang on to the back of the jeep and let him pull you and your bike up the hill.  Kids do it frequently.  Or throw the bike on top of the jeep and ride inside.  Just a suggestion.

Hahaha, coasting downhill and getting a ride back up kinda defeats the entire purpose doesn't it? Or, I already get that exercise riding the motorcycle.
