She loves the comedies , Little Britain , The Inbetweeners and everything that has songs in them, but she is not interested in the soaps .

Just wait until you move here, you will think American tv is great. I will wager pounds to donuts that she will watch all the phil and Korean teleseryie. Let me summarize the plots for you

Yell, cry, yell, weep, yell, sob, scream, wail, Kiss and make up.

there now you know all the programs :hystery:

Often referred to as “mindless T.V.”

The cultural differences between us are just too great for us to ever appreciate each other's 'soaps'.

We have 2 TVs, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom. I just go to the unused one and watch with my daughter. Sometimes I'll stay if it's interesting or the news if she'll translate it. Vice Ganda comes on and I'm gone.

I have the same arrangement.

I also have my Xboxes hooked up to each TV... and to our fibre internet, so I can stream YouTube , etc.  Great for keeping our 3 year-old amused and educated.
