Sadly, the 30th anniversary of my lovely fiancee being killed in a road accident.  RIP. Never forgotten. :sad:

Yes 8 am as I was trying  to work out which date we should go to Bohol.

 Kev, Do not Go during the Election Week, Last Elections they had Riots if you Remember. There and Siquijor. 2 very normally quiet  Tourist Islands

No danger of that with the current election in Australia... it's being widely regarded as a "snooze fest" and "the most boring election campaign" in decades.

I feel your pain. Shortly after my dad retired he bought a Honda Goldwing 1200. Him and my mom were both killed instantly by an 18 wheeler on a road trip to Vegas.:sad:

My condolences  sir. 

My lady was riding pillion on a friend's motorbike . Both killed. 

We'd been in a relationship for 8 years. 

This event did actually lead me to going to the Phils, so quite relevant I suppose.

I just needed a break from the UK for a while.  That was back in the year following (1990).
