There are mathematicians and physicists who believe there is beauty in formulas that describe reality, most are over my head but I grok fractals and if fractals aren’t art then I don’t know what is :)

 

Nb the Mandelbrot set is perhaps the most famous fractal but they occur everywhere in nature, snowflakes, the pattern on shells, ferns and many many more.
