Or The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

With a smartphone or an ereader you can carry an entire library with you. There are a large number of free ebooks at https://www.gutenberg.org/

Haha thanks for the tips! Will make sure to take my kindle with me!

My gf has a (very) large family so maybe one of them can be "encouraged" to do the queueing for me.... although I'm English I'm not a fan of queueing! ;)

Spain is where I always envisaged moving, to have been on holiday there several times, like the way of life, cost of living etc and the weather :)

Always loved Rota , Spain and Portugal when there mutiple times, But that was a loooong time ago....where I met first wife, a New York Italian of all people  :571c66d400c8c_1(103):.  Anyway, welcome and hope it all works out great for you wherever you land.  Seems Filipinas adjust well about anywhere they go, but we too are planning move back to "paradise" end of the year, though plan to live island or several provinces away from family drama and $ emergencies and those unannounced long stay visits., if possible.

It can be avoided to some degree. The on line banking is improving every day I use it.  Now one can transfer up to P50K to another bank every 24 hours, many places now have the facility to pay this way. Little shops called I pay are popping up all over, one can pay almost anything through these establishments with minimal queuing.

Whatever it takes!  lol   I put in quotes because I know much of it is not, but if the Asawa is happy and we can save significant $ And travel post pandemic mess  as opposed to here, I'll be happy.   Then again, might be a case of "careful what ya wish for.".....gonna find out!
