The local Barangay installed solar lighting on a new stretch of highway along the foreshore, we took bets on how long they would last, i was surprised at 6 months before they were all gone, must have been the salt air.

Is this at the barangay, city, provincial or national level?   

Most recent build I can think of is Kev - @sonjack2847 - and wonder if he's been through the same thing. 

No mate they did what I would call a proper evaluation. I do have a transformer fitted as potentially we could use 30k plus electricity per month.

Wow. I sympathize. Come and build in Dauis, Bohol where the local government is relatively uncorrupt. They've even gotten "Good Housekeeping" awards from national government for having transparent accounting practices.
