Maybe I have been fortunate?  The really large ones I purchased from neighbors for about 300 peso.  Found the smaller ones.

Living on the beach here in Sibonga we would find lots of shells. Fast forward to Covid-19 and everyone stripped the beach clean of anything they could eat. its starting to come back, only time will tell.

Done, requires a mod to hide a post.

I just want to inform those of you who are unaware, that it could be very dangerous picking up shells from the beach.

Cone shells are common in the Philippines and there are several different species. Most of them are venomous in different degrees and some can be leathal.

If these are picked up they can sting you in your hand, or leg, if you put it into your pocket.

For those wondering what a cone shell looks like.  Here is one I found that was empty.
