Useless purchase in the province.

After ten days without water I am of the opinion that buying an automatic washing machine is a total waste of money.

We did go to the provider to find out what is going on and the customer service representative said “Yes you are correct, there isn’t any water in your area”.

Why are the local population so apathetic?

Sadly there just are... many provinces have brownouts and its just accepted. No one demonstrates, no one complains... a few lines in a FB post doesnt constitute  a complaint.....

If you want water, move to the city.

Wrong, wrong and bloody wrong, we live in a subdivision and all the other around us get water for only four hours a day, sometimes, one of the drawbacks with living in a subdivision. Costs a fortune for tanks, pump and having to redo the job over and over because everyone is an expert until it doesn’t work. Westerners don’t know anything.

Having city water doesn't guarantee you anything.

Our cistern might go 2 or 3 nights without refilling (from city water) without any notice nor explanation.

We have a tank (at ground level) and an electric pump.  The water stops working for a while every week or two.

Thankfully the electricity is more reliable than that, 'brown outs' only happen every month or two (including today for 8 hours so I went to the mall in the city for the day).

I meant an actual city like around Cebu and Manila, not Leyte.  If you don't count Odette, there hasn't been a water problem in over a decade.

I live in Cagayan De Oro, the second largest city on Mindanao, it's classified as a "highly urbanized 1st class city" by the government.

We definitely have water interuptions.

I'm sure it is, which utility company supplies your water?
