I think I get your point, but this would only impact employees whose overtime pushed them from one tax band to another - they'd need to be doing a lot of overtime for that to happen and in any event the difference is 'only' 5% - they'd get 80% of O/T payment instead of 85% at the lower rate which would apply to most.
