JJReyes Posted February 23 Posted February 23 There are men walking around with make-up. Is this a trend influenced by Korean K-Pop artists or a practice that has become widely accepted? There was even a middle-aged gentleman wearing a suit and tie, possibly going to a business meeting, with lipstick.

Forum Support Mike J Posted February 24 Forum Support Posted February 24 Had two friends from the USA visit us last year. I told them if you see any young ladies dressed to the max, short skirts, heels, wearing makeup, etc. Beware because they are probably ladyboys.

BrettGC Posted February 25 Posted February 25 (edited) It happened with the androgynistic new wave/new romantic movement in the 80's pretty much globally, same with the Goth and then more recently the Emo thing and constantly in the Metal scene. Goes in Cycles. Yes, I understand these are all exaggerations of what JJ observed but it's been going on a long time. Probably started with Glam Rock maybe? Fans tend to emulate their heroes. Back to what the OP meant, I’m of the belief that local men here wearing lipstick are gay who are out of the closet. 2
