Getting a monsoon style rain this morning, the first rain in a long time for us.  The plants and lawn are loving it.  Currently 28 at 5:54.

That figure must be heat index, surely?  The high where I am will be around 34 - currently 31.

The 40 is Fahrenheit temp, approximately 5 centigrade.

Now I am confused - it's 33°C here in Iloilo but you're saying it's 40°F in Old 55's place?  Surely not .

Old55 lives in/near Seattle, Washington state, USA. It is just now early spring weather there.
