Bisdakgirl Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 If you have Champus or Tricare for your health insurance, it will reimburse your medical costs when you are outside the US territory. Make sure you send all the receipts when filing for reimbursements. I chose to have my medical care and surgery in Cebu because I feel comfortable with the doctors here. (thanks to jake for the door hanger)But serious , 1 of the insurance names I keep hearing about when I am around others from the Western worldis BLUE CROSS of the Philippines, ,the only Negative feedback I hear is the "Waiting period" for preexisting conditions.WELL? i am not a rocket scientist nor a brain surgeonbut most if not all insurance companies do have "waiting periods" for current/preexisting health issues.
