The rules has changed, see Item# 5 http://www.philhealt...mbership.htm#m5 Wow! That's terrific news about Phil Health.
Yeah this RA 9241 has been around since Feburary 10, 2004 http://www.lawphil.n..._9241_2004.htmlbut doesn't mention anything about foreign nationals! RA 7875 is a long read, just google it here: PDF file: http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1TSNA_ENPH407&q=ra+7875+of+the+philippines&oq=RA+7875&aq=3v&aqi=g1g-v3g-m1&aql=&gs_sm=c&gs_upl=6577l12801l0l15205l7l7l0l0l0l0l257l1383l0.3.4l7l0 Edited by Art2ro

If you have Champus or Tricare for your health insurance, it will reimburse your medical costs when you are outside the US territory. Make sure you send all the receipts when filing for reimbursements. I chose to have my medical care and surgery in Cebu because I feel comfortable with the doctors here. Dr. David Hermosisima performed my thyroid surgery recently. I heard he's the best and yes he is indeed!

Art I'm pretty sure that when we enrolled my asawa in the PhilHealth program and me as a dependent when I asked the girl at the desk if I could have my own policy .... she said I could buy why bother as I was covered by my asawa's plan ..... but she did ask to see my permanent ACR I card .... not sure if that made a difference or not

You'll see much better if you just stop playing with your joy stick too hard! Didn't your parents tell you it's bad on the eyes and you may go blind? :mocking:

Better yet! Just order yourself the super duper heavy duty wiper blades with extra refills for your LCD monitor display screen from my SS Buddy Jake from his distribution center in Nigeria! Only his right palm is hairless, because he isn't ambidextrous! :mocking:

(thanks to jake for the door hanger)But serious , 1 of the insurance names I keep hearing about when I am around others from the Western worldis BLUE CROSS of the Philippines, ,the only Negative feedback I hear is the "Waiting period" for preexisting conditions.WELL? i am not a rocket scientist nor a brain surgeonbut most if not all insurance companies do have "waiting periods" for current/preexisting health issues.post-1293-0-07168900-1328289130_thumb.jp Edited by Jollygoodfellow
