To me it is just another day, and I give my wife all my love everyday of the year and treat her the best that I can everyday of the year, so holidays have no real meaning to me but I will buy her a red rose if we happen to be out and see some at reasonable prices. Hi, where exactly are these florists that contacted u located?As for it being special...everyone I suppose has their own outlook...some treat as a romantic occassion...others just see it as another commercial rip off...same as Christmas..each to their own.Why specialise one day in the whole year to be 'romantic'....how about it just being an impulsive thing..for example in June..on your way home, looking forward to an evening with the loved one and buying a bunch of flowers on spec to suprise your partner...to me that's better than being diarised to do it...and won't she love it more than expecting it because it's spontaneous. Forum Support Old55 Posted February 13, 2011 Forum Support Posted February 13, 2011 For many Filipinos Valentines day is a big deal but not like in the states where the gals expect expensive gifts (jewelry), dinner, flowers and a card. Rats! I can't think of anything to top that. Its brilliant. Then the smart guy has to only buy one gift each year for anniversary and Valentines Day all in.
