Mr Lee Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I sure hope the police did their homework this time and have REAL concrete evidence, so that this is not just a face saving arrest that will cause yet another foreigner and his lady lots of heartache.Charges of kidnapping with homicide were filed at 10:45 a.m. by the Task Force Ellah Joy against Briton Ian Charles Griffiths and his Cebuana girlfriend Bella Ruby Santos at the Cebu Provincial Prosecutor’s Office.Griffiths is reportedly in Singapore while Santos is in Makati City. One interesting thing said in this news story that is very telling is The suspects then cleaned all the traces of the crime and left Cebu through the Mactan Cebu International Airport that same afternoon on board SilkAir flight number M1588 using a one-way ticket purchased at the last minute without any reservations around 3 p.m. So in other words, I am guessing there will be no physical evidence. This story gets crazier and more convoluted with each passing day. According to the report, the suspects tried to persuade Ellah Joy to pose for pornography by feeding her and giving her money. Saniel-Amit said anyone, including parents, found engaging in such activities will be prosecuted. She claimed they found many victims here in Cebu after the recovery of children’s pictures in the USB owned by Bella Ruby Santos, one of the suspects in the killing of Ellah Joy Pique. Weird Santos said she was not ashamed of her work because it allowed her to eat delicious fast food. If that is true, then that is the saddest excuse I have ever heard of.
