Forum Support scott h Posted September 24, 2011 Forum Support Posted September 24, 2011 In our case it is live out maids also. that and the fact that we seem to be almost feudal with our maids. It seems like an entire extended family has worked for my wifes family as domestic help for almost two generations. As the Kano looking in there seems to be an almost "family" relationship that has developed. I have been TOLD that we will assist putting our current maids duaghter through school. Fine with me, cut kid.
joeatmanila Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I do maintain two helpers. I have changed a lot of them within 9 years now. Most left us because of pregnancy (not from me, i do not touch them!!!) and a three of them we fired them. One left with two cellphones and 10.000p stolen from us.The ones i have now i send the one to college and the other needs nothing than her salary. They have their own room their own bathroom and their own kitchen. They eat the same food with us and we treat them as family members. No complains, i do not like helpers but that is the way of living here.
