Wow! That's some set up... Yeah...Getting older is a bind. Some days I feel as if reached a plateau...just can't lift that little bit extra.After a sesssion, I notice when showering, the solidness of the muscles yet an hour later they seem soft again...is that normal or is it the age thing?
You and jake need to boost your testosterone. It's that simple. No need to go out of a healthy T range, nor use anabolic steroids...just some simple androgel. I hear about guys using viagra as they get older for sex, but all that does is create a cold erection....the testosterone creates the libido and will also make you live longer. Again, not going into the barry bonds levels...just enough to get you feeling like you were when you were 18 again. Try some androgel....see your doctor in the west. Andropause happens to ALL men, as does menopause with ladies...you lose much of your testosterone as you age, starting at about age 30. By age 60, you are probably watching Oprah, getting teary eyed watching the Titanic, and shopping too much at malls with the wife on Football Sunday. All signs of low T....if you actually help the wife pick out her shoes, WAY too low. Simple blood test...also, if the doctor suggest the blue pill for you...ask him about dostinex instead. Roy, once you get that T flowing at teenage levels again, you WILL see a big difference in your appearance..... and drive. :unsure:

Wow! :unsure: When I saw your complete gym setup with all those heavy weighs, my old muscles cried out, "Aray Ko Po!" That means "OUCH" in Tagalog! :lol:

Ugh....it would beat me I am sure. I used to just hit the big bag to relieve any stress, work, ex wife, teenage kids ect...my Rocky days are long gone, started when I had kids and began working 16 hour days...and after almost going blind with a detached retina my dream of getting back to rolling around the mats died. One more poke in there and I will be wearing the black patch on one eye....forever known in Davao as the foreigner who walks into the glass doors at malls. "watch...it's him again, he's getting close to the exit...bam...haha, he does it every single time...haha, he's bleeding again too!" I live here because I want NO STRESS....the least amount of stress is my goal as I age gracefully. Jake and Art are my inspiration....happy, calm, funny and proud men. :lol: Aerobic type work?...walking my dog, and soon I will be joining a ballroom dance class, taught by some gay pinoy. Macho man to glitter man. :lol: Guy better not poke me in my eye...or anywhere else for that matter. :unsure:

Wouldn't it be great if they had an all nude ballroom dance class? The Tango would be my favorite dance, because their bodies are constantly stuck to one another face to face, her breasts to his chest and leg to leg between each other's crotch! Where do Jake and I sign up? No, we won't be dancing with one another or with any lady/boy toys, we'll leave those to Inspector! Sorry for going slightly off topic, but ballroom dancing was mentioned! :mocking:

Yes Roy, it's because you are losing testosterone as you age, a LOT... thus muscle, libido and as jake pointed out, the other area, all suffers the negative effects. The viagra was a comment towards Jake, and his soft third leg..haha. :lol: I was just pointing out that many times those who dabble in viagra, a dangerous drug BTW especially if you drink, smoke and are overweight, have a heart condition or mix it with another substance (instant death), you are simply feeding the giant pharmaceutical lobby machine, and many older men, especially in the Philippines, who have younger ladies, take this like candy...when all they need is a substance your own body makes...testosterone. It's cheaper, healthier (unless you want to become a WWE wrestler) and will increase your body tone, and also fight off depression and heart disease. TRT is a viable alternative to aging, and I suggest seeing a doctor, getting blood work for the testosterone levels, and getting some androgel...or some sort of injectable substance, whatever the doctor puts you on. Again...see a doctor. I know in Thailand they have many doctors who work for life extension...and in the west. I do not know of any out in the Philippines...but do know they do not have any androgel or the like. BTW, they have natural substances and ways to increase T levels....

  • According to a Swedish study... To get the biggest boost in testosterone when you do your compound exercises... Make sure you use heavy weights that will allow you to only do about 3-to-5 reps per set and you want to do about 5-to-8 sets of each compound exercise you do but...
  • You also want to limit your workout time on those compound exercises to 1-to-2 hours so just do only 1-to-2 compound exercises followed by a few optional isolation exercises twice a week (Mon. & Thur. for example) and as for burning fat...
  • Avoid 'sissy cardio' where you walk or run for long periods of time and start doing Manly Cardio workouts like Hill sprints and intervals 3-to-4 times a week and limit your long duration sissy cardio workouts to only 2 times a week and...
  • Make extra sure that you rest harder than you work out because overtraining leads to more cortisol and lower testosterone (see #7 again) and you may need to get 8+ hours of sleep to allow your body to recuperate and produce more testosterone after you workout like a man

That's how I train...heavy, but I use a leverage system as to NOT destroy my aging joints. But I am a sissy with my aerobics....well, until I begin my manly ball room dance aerobic classes. Wait a second.... :89: So, the reason you are having a tough time with gains...low testosterone. :mocking:
