IS IT TRULY DIFFICULT AS A FILIPINO TO FIND WORK?

I would think with the aging tradesman work force in Canada. I will be seeing more ofw Filipino tradesmen in the workplace here and not just in the service industry.

most of the Filipinos working here I see are kids and women working at macdo. here being Edmonton, Alberta

DOLE, Department of Labour & Employment, that have Job fairs and listings of Jobs in most Areas from a lot of Sources.

Yes the link took to a job search site but your post said nothing about any job fairs or anything so that why I asked as a job finding site is normally for looking for a job thats been listed.

OK Got it, this one is from June but people can contact their Local DOLE office to enquire about others and of course elist help with getting Employment ;

 Of course we should ask ourselves are there those that won't or Don't want to work as there is help out there, there was this one from some time ago;

I read the link and here is what I got out of it
"OVER 900 applicants. . . " and further on "A total of 24 applicants were hired on-the-spot by different participating companies."

Now I'm thinking they either did not have enough jobs for all the applicants, or people who were applying were not qualified, or it is inaccurate reporting, or maybe it really is that hard to find a job.  Which is more likely and what other options could cause this huge gap between applicants and new hires?
