sonjack2847 Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I am a complete novice on some aspects of computers and have been trying to clear up some space on disk D as I only have 198 mb space left. Could somebody give me an idiots guide on how to do this. The disk has been cleaned up and defragmented but I cannot get any more space on there. HELP Did you try and delete some of the Old stuff in your saved Files. Old Jokes and Photos. You can get a lot of Space back by clearing out your Down loads .Defragmenting will only sort out and Compress, you need to do some unloading. Go to Disk Clean up in the Control Panel. Also get rid of Unwanted Programmes. Stuff you don't need or use any More. go to Control and select add or delete programmes. Hope this helps a little.
