With all the mystery of what to do and what not to do, I received an email from the airline I am travelling back to Manila with and it seems to me that if I follow their guidelines I will be sweet.45B84AA1-9151-444C-A5EF-C08CD6DDE97A.png

I noticed that one of the requirements is travel insurance for treatment of Covid 19. Who are you buying that from?... and how much does it cost?

What’s your idea of “cheap”?

I bought one from covermore.com.au and for me (in my 60s) it cost me $216 Australian ($154 US) for 1 month of unlimited medical cover including Covid (but not cover for catching Covid before the trip and being refused bording due to failing the RT-PCR test).

According to this vlogger, 13A and SRRV visa holders do not need to have travel medical coverage. Good news for some of us

Indeed. It answers a few questions that Ive been asking PRA office for a few days now.

And no there is nothing on their facebook page on this either. Yet.

Funny how many insurance companies wont state covid coverage but will state blanket coverage. I checked with mine, Cigna, and they have given me a nice letter stating my coverage is for 1 mill US$ and covers all treatments in all countries ( except US) but they wont specifically state covid coverage.
