Many travel agents do it. Just go to some in your area and ask. No difference to any other extension except for placing 6 months in the number of months requested box.

Not out in the province do they do it.

So I could go to Manila and start walking the streets looking for a travel agent, or I could ask on this forum and maybe just maybe one of the members of the forum could give me the name of an agent that they have used and trust. Do you think that would work?

If you went to Manila from the province my personal recommendation would be to just do it yourself and save the potential fees.

You could probably just Google travel agents Philippines if the former wasn't in the cards.

Pre covid I would have had a few names for you, we had several mom and pop travel agencies just in our neighborhood, alas they all shut down and have turned into sari-sari stores and such. On my daily walks I have not seen a single one.

A thought though. Go to facebook messenger, find Okada resort page (5 star resort casino here) ask for their affiliated travel agency contact info so you can arrange a trip there. They are pretty good at responding to FB. It might be a long shot but it only costs you some time typing :cheersty:

Thanks everyone, some good ideas from you good people, no doubt I will find someone, instead of the way I have been doing it to date.

I just haven’t got the reaction time as I get older to deal with all the crazies on the road in the province.

cheers

Just remember to make sure they're BI accredited, they'll have an accreditation number that needs to be used on the extension form if you're using an agent.  Without this number, your extension is unlikely to be processed.

cheers,

What is your plan on how you will use an agent?  How will you give them your passport?

Any city that has an immigration office will have travel agents who do visa work.

If you are going to send your passport by courier to an agent, you could send it anywhere.  If you are interested, I know of a few highly recommended travel agents in Angeles City.

There are visa companies in Manila as well as travel agents but you dont have to use Manila. You could use my visa agent here in Cebu that I have used for 6 years and at times when I visited before living here. Since covid I got her to hold my passport with her as at one time she could not enter my area to collect it so from then on she kept it and paid the visa fee and then I would send her the money. She has many clients and is a genuine business and holds passports of many clients. Cebu Expats Services is the name which also do weddings, have motorbike rental and car rental. If you like I can give you contact details.

As for Manila and recommendations, we dont really have that many active members in Manila.
