Thanks to your reports and photos we are planning a trip there when school permits. Thank you

I definitely recommend it for a family trip!  Very safe and clean.  There were lots of European families around, especially Germans.  I will be adding more as time allows.

SIM Card

There are plenty of places selling SIM cards when you get off the airplane in KL.  However, I bought mine on Klook before we left, charged to my US credit card.  I printed the voucher at home (not a big fan of using my phone for those things but that is fine too) and brought it to the shop just outside arrivals.  The guy installed it very quickly and I didn't have to pay anything there.  30 days unli calls and 30 gb of data.  30 rm, about $7.68 or p370.  It worked fine for everything.  My wife didn't want to get one but next time I will get at least two, so we can always communicate when separated.
