I don't know what other forum you guys are talking about and that is probably for the best :)I did spend Christmas in Cebu and really enjoyed it. I am hoping to be retired and there permanently by Christmas of this year. We'll see. It is looking like Cebu or a suburb nearby but I am still open to suggestions.I've heard a few people saying Davao is good. But I have also heard that is dangerous because of the Muslims. Is that just the standard scare story or is it ok? I have not been there but from the pictures it looks nice - but of course all of PI looks nice. I plan on just renting a small flat so I can move around until I find what area I like.
