but today Swedish news reported over 250 dead (I believe they said 283.) Plus houndreds missing, probably dead. But they didn't say where,

Yes, I got message from one, Electric broke, but no other big problems in their part of city, but they belong to the middle/upper class. I don't know how it is in poor low level parts.

it appears if the houses were BUILT well, not a NIPA,wood stick type

the Cinder block and raised flooring w/roofing secured, the damages seem to be much less
