How many expats have been busted for adultery ? ,we know that it's a risk ,but how many have had it happen to them ?

This one had to run for his life and was shot at. They made a documentary TV story about this.  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1016113/Briton-locked-adultery-pleads-bring-baby-home.html

Meeting her husband I hope is in a public place but even then is entering a dangerous path for the future. Since he is still on amicable terms with your GF then he will know everything you are doing and I hope you checked her out well to be sure it's not a plan from the both of them to help relieve you of your assets. Sorry if that sounds kinda harsh but its happened a many a time before.

I agree with Jollygoodfellow.  Tread very carefully.  Every day I am seeing and hearing things that make me shake my head in amazement.  Husbands and boyfriends dropping their partners off at girlie bars.  Wifes moving their boyfriends into the house. An ex pat acquaintance telling me he's just finished with a local as he's fed up waiting for her husband to die.  He'd been having an affair with her for 15yrs behind her foreigner husbands back.  She married the guy who was a lot older expecting him to die soon so she would be set up for life but it turned out he has strong genes and my neighbour whose partner spiked his drink with rat poison as he refused to move out of his house.

From the story I told before of a friend of mine here losing everything, when she sold all and did a runner, one thing I forgot to mention, the GF brother who was moved in to the house with open arms as my friend thought it was better her not being alone while he was back in Saudi, it turned out the brother was actually her Bf...... You couldn't make it up, lost the lot.....

Thank you for the concerns guys , i accept that there are some horror stories out there , we can only judge people on their actions

My gf is very concerned about her family reputation, and maintains a very high standard of morals ,she cannot afford to get busted for any illegal activity as it means her job and her pension ,even to the point of not buying a small truck because the paper worj was not right

I have been assured that her husband cannot file charges against us for adultery as she has his adultry recorded legally and he has been living with another woman for 10 years

Yes there is a possibility that i could get turned over  but so far its all going good

Well that's interesting.  Can you tell us more?  I ask because the Philippine law says "The crime of adultery can be committed only by a wife and her paramour."  Men don't exactly get a "free pass" but they cannot be charged with adultery.

It may be that adultery is the wrong wording on my /her part , but her separation did end up in count and some sort of legal agreement is in place

I acknowledge that there is a risk involving separated philipino women ,but there is also a risk in getting together with a single philipino lady

I think at the end of the day, there is good and bad experience you have to let your head rule your heart sometimes to start with, and be intelligent enough to smell a rat, I had all this advice 9 years ago, friends begged me to think again, but I went for it, as if felt right....... So far after 9 years never been happier....... Now i will probably go home and someone else will own it..... Lol

I have heard stories like that before where the brother or perhaps cousin is really the boyfriend.
